Guacamole

I am making some today for the first time for a cookout.  The third time in my life EVER that I will have tasted guacamole will be my own recipe.  Lord knows I tend to substitute stuff in a recipe, so there is NO TELLING how it will taste to anyone who is well acquainted with the wonders of the avocado.

So I'll let you know how it turns out.

But one key feature in the recipes I am planning to ignore from the interweb is a lime, so I just sent Mr Lemon to the store for some other stuff and texted him "I NEED A LIME"

I also have another excuse for this new obsession and that is a new baby on the way.

Yes, you read that right.

Babycenter.com calculated my due date for me as 3/9/2012, and also says it's a girl. The Chinese gender predictor app on my friend's phone concurs.  Splenda wants another baby sister. Mr Lemon wants a boy to even things out.  Zesty wants me to have a kitten and he says he's going to eat lots of food and get a baby in his belly too.  Pinky just nods and goes to get her baby doll.  I emailed a friend last night that she's already figured out she's going to have to provide her own entertainment.

This is the Last One, however.  Mr Lemon will be taking care of the reproductive surgery himself this time, since my attempt only worked 50%.  Clearly the organs that were "shaped funny" and prevented the procedure from being 100% effective (the doctor's words, not mine) were FUNNEL SHAPED.
