I really wanted a picture of Mr Lemon and I holding a "Sold!" sign in front of the house, but this is all I managed to capture with my phone, upload to Facebook, and then turn around and steal my own image to show you all MY NEW HOUSE!!!
We had a very busy weekend with the packing and the moving and the cleaning and the unpacking and the rearranging ... Thankfully a family in the church volunteered to keep the babies for us on Saturday so we could move without tripping over a toddler. Splenda tried to help, bless her heart, but it was altogether too much for me to listen to her hyperventilate about a babyish ceiling fan her to handle, so she went to a friend's house too.
I would love to show you more pictures, but I can't find my camera. I'm sure it's here somewhere. I have a few boxes left to unpack, but the majority is done. Everyone slept in their own beds and their own rooms on the first night, and we even managed to make it to church on time Sunday morning despite no one knowing where anything was.
I had a little moment today which I wish I could have captured for you to know just how much this home means to us. I took Zesty outside to explore our backyard and playset for the first time, and he just scrambled all over it. He figured out one faux rock climbing wall was too steep, so he went around to another ladder, and went down the slide all by himself. Pinky giggled infectiously just watching him play, and I got pretty choked up. This is what we've been waiting for! Through it all, (skip to the 3:00 mark) all of the years of trial and hardship, I always knew that God had something more for me.
Mr Lemon and I have patiently waited and worked -separately and together- it was all so very worth it to me this morning as I watched my two beautiful babies play together and enjoy their new home's amenities. Last night after church we invited the congregation over, anyone who wanted to tour the house. It was so great to have room to have plenty of our friends all at the same time, and we humbly thank God for this opportunity to open our doors to fellowship with some of the newer members.
And now I must sleep the sleep of the exhausted, because I have a million and one things to do tomorrow, and the day starts in six hours.

Needless to say, we are so VERY excited for you all! Just try not to do everything in just a couple of days. You have a long, LONG time to put your special mark on this house.
It has been pure joy to watch God's hand work in your life; to see how He has provided for you in times of great joy and deep sorrow, and to see your faithfulness be rewarded.
He who began a good work in you is so faithful in completing it. Bless you, sweet Lemon Family.
So happy and excited for you! I keep writing something and erasing it, so I'll leave it the way it is. :o)
