Day 3

This post brought to you by the kitchen counter, from which I am writing right now.  It is also the only place I can get a good enough signal from my neighbor's wireless router, since Insight isn't coming until Friday.

I need some recommendations on kitchen child-proofing.  Specifically, the refrigerator.  It is far too easy for Zesty to open.  He has excellent finger dexterity, and I'd like to keep the pudding cups and applesauce off the carpet for just a little while longer, please and thank you.

If you look closely, you'll see a tin on the stove for lemon tea.  Appropriate, no?

Get a fridge lock, you can find them with all the other child-proof/safety gadgets. I promise that the adhesive used to stick it onto the fridge comes off.

We had to lock our fridge when Jack was Zesty's age. I'd walk in and find him playing in the eggs. Bad news.

~ Yes, the fridge locks are great! Miss M enjoyed playing chef when she was Z and W age. One day I found her sitting on the couch with the half sheet of birthday cake! We cleaned up and immediately went to Lowe's and purchased the lock.

You may or may not remember that a fridge in my not so distant past had seat belts. Yes, fridge locks are great. I loved them until Sam figured them out. Daniel is now the culprit in the fridge. I guess more seat belts are in order here too. :o)

Happy child proofing!
