Our family welcomed a new little nephew last Tuesday. I haven't received permission to post a picture yet, but oh, the sweetness. Him is so little! Six pounds and few little ounces of fluffy sugar - I forgot how tiny newborns are.
Oh, and my niecy came to visit Saturday. She brought her parents with her so I could do some boring work stuff called taxes, but the real reason was she needed her Auntie Mrs Lemon. Zesty was a mite jealous, but he did reach over and kiss her little ear. She is so darling!
I must admit, I was just waiting for her to fill her diaper so I could have Sica put one of my new one-size bumGeniuses on her. I was not disappointed, it soaked up the mess with ease.

In the latest Zesty news, he stood for a few seconds on his own a week ago. He's just too busy to try and walk, because he can't get anywhere fast enough.

He's also very kissy when he's tired. Thankfully, he's learning to keep his teeth out of the kiss so I don't have bruises on my cheeks.
Nana brought him down some cool new 'nacks to try. He prefers yogurt for breakfast over anything else, so she gave him some freeze-dried yogurt packs. I tried one or three, they are pretty nifty.

Zesty is saying words already?! How precious! And, I thought I knew you better. I am almost certain the Mrs. Lemon I know would have a little video with Zesty showing off his new vocabulary. Hmmm.... I'll just have to wait for it, I guess.
