Still not sure what further place the blog has in my life, but I certainly can't leave it like that :)
I mentioned that a friend gave me a whole new wardrobe when it became apparent my former sizes were no longer even alterable to fit me. By the way, I've lost a total of 30 pounds since the beginning of December, so I'm feeling very confident in being able to keep it off. Especially since I don't really want to replace my free wardrobe.
Some of the clothes she gave me were still quite a bit too small, so I made a nice little pile for Splenda to pick through. She was able to keep some, which is great because she loves to feel like she has plenty of options to choose the same outfit day after day after day ...
Her grandma also recently gave her some clothes, and one jacket in particular was just not her style.
She brought it to me in my bedroom and said:
"Mawmaw gave this to me, but it looks like old people's clothes. Do you want it?"
Nice.
