So Zesty is growing up on me. 2.33 years old.
His little conversations are so funny to follow. He can mimic about anything you say, which is hilarious and scary.
Rather, scawy. He says his name is Zackawee, he pronounces Pinky's real name as Cookies. When she's cwyning he wants to comfort her, and he likes to look at her when she's feeping. Foap is for his baff, and when he's done, I hear bye bye, waddew. He can identify gween, wed, wewwow, owansh, and bwue.
He also has me wrapped (wapped) around his sweet little pinky toe. I don't let on though. A few weeks ago I had them both in my lap on the recliner, and made a cutsie little sing-song phrase of holding my babies. So now when he's trying to get out of trouble it's ... "Beebies! Mommy's beebies! WAP!!" It's pretty cute. And also hard to keep a straight face.
Why would this precious angel be in trouble, you ask? He went from being terrified of the vacuum cleaner two months ago to knowing exactly how it works, how to wind it up, and how to "buckle" the cord thingamajiggie. About ... oh, approximately sixty-three times a day. It's the first thing he talks about in the morning, it's the first thing he looks for every time he goes into a new environment, VACUUUUM!
I've tried being consistent to say no, I've done standing in the corner, time out, spanking, all to no avail. He knows it's a no-no, he tells Cookies that it's a no-no. Yet if he is left alone for a split second, it is out of the closet and unwound. VACUUUUM!

I had a few boys like that, too...so hard to keep a straight face when they did something they weren't suppose to! They're just so darn cute, huh?
You need to find that boy a toy vaccuum. Foster his love of it. If he grows up loving to vaccuum, that's one less chore on your plate.
Cookies? haha I'm trying to say Pinky's real name and "cookies" and I can't even make it work hahaha What a cutie-pie.
I have a friend whose son loves the vacuum. He is I believe 4 now. But there was just a fascination about it for some reason. Z must being going through that same fascination.
It is SO hard not to smile or laugh when they are so cute and yet are so doing something they know is wrong! I love their words.
