Think green

And this is why I love my bloggy friends so much - you are all so compassionate, and understanding that this post documented a learning experience. I am not throwing a pity party.

A pity party would include a lot more chocolate and kleenex, and possibly raw cookie dough with a side of fried rice.

Sadly, the New Wok down the street closed. I'm pretty sure it's against IRS code for an H&R Block office not to be located in walking distance of a Chinese restaurant.

I'm at work today, and somehow H&R Block managed to block Facebook but not Blogger. awesome. Especially since it's MLK Jr Day, and everyone thinks we're closed, like the banks. Not so, my friends. We are OPEN. Please, PLEASE come and do your taxes. Otherwise I will be forced to use my tax expertise to clean the windows. And blog.

So, know what that is about. I work at an acccounting firm. I answering the phones, "YES, we are open. During Tax Season you are not allowed to die." Have a fun day. Claudia

Make a large poster that says "Hey, We're open today!" and put it out during the days when most people would assume that you are closed.

I would just about bet money that the answering machine at the bank will have a minimum of 5 messages wanting to know if we were opened today. Thank the good Lord we weren't!
