Yes, that was relevant. I'm always on the look out for new snacks and snack ideas. We snack a lot in this household. Pinky was built in utero by fudge rounds and no bake cookies.
Which would explain her pudgy bottom. It goes straight to the hips even at such a young age.
She's two months old today! This was taken last Sunday afternoon - bless Sica forever for loaning me this sling. It's easy, cute, reversible, and small to fold up in my diaper bag. Little sister likes it too - she can peek out the top to be nosey at everyone else, or she can snuggle down to nap.
(hey, look, we have wall decorations. And hey, look, I have two chins.)Pinky will not take a pacifier. Please don't anyone tell me that at least I won't have to break her of it, because I think I will have to punch you in the elbow.
She's just so funny when I have to burp her, so offended that I took the food source from her. It's hilarious to see my mad face sitting there on my knee. She looks like her Daddy when her eyes are wide open, but we've determined she has my eyelids, that's why she resembles me when she cries.
We did family photos yesterday. You will flip out when I post them on here. They are darling. I almost cried when the saleslady showed them to us. I'm pretty sure that's the reaction she was looking for. Goodbye, paycheck. In all fairness, the photos were a [generous] gift, but we went above and beyond the gift because of all of the cuteness. Which is unusual for me, because I am cheap and thrifty under normal circumstances. Blast those postpartum hormones.

Eva pulled a "Sica pout" on me yesterday while we were eating at a restaurant. I about wet myself laughing at her! I told her that I had lived with that face already & was immune to it.
I totally feel your pain about Pinky not taking a soother. Terence wouldn't either and there were many, many times I tried, trust me!! :) She's a cutie!
I love that picture. Double chin? Poo. All I saw was the beautiful expression on your face in the mirror. Someday Pinky will treasure this picture when she's older.
"Cheap and thrifty under normal circumstances"
Since when does family pictures fall under "normal circumstances"?
What an absolutely beautiful picture, Liz! She has so much hair!
Oh, those pictures will get you in the wallet everytime, even us pennypinchers! :-0
Have you tried several brands of pacifiers? I'm sure you have...but baby P will only take one brand. Anything else he spits out HARD! It took several weeks for us to find this out. FYI, it's the MAM brand. O would only take Gerber Nuks. Go figure...
I love the pic!!! It is too great!! Can't wait to see the family pics. She is such a little cutie!
