25 things you should know before continuing your day

1. Mr Lemon and I are going to a football game this weekend.
2. Taking a 17 month old to a 3 hour football game sounds about as exciting as getting all my teeth pulled, reinstalled, and then pulling them again.
3. While giving birth.
4. We managed to find a family to foist Zesty off onto.
5. They are going camping this weekend and picking him up this evening.
6. We trust them entirely.
7. Mr Lemon has to work tonight.
8. I will probably stay up all night because of the overwhelming silence. Hello, new neighbors? Would you mind pinching your baby so she cries all night to make me feel better? K.thanks.bye.
9. I have some office work to do in the morning while Mr Lemon sleeps off his steel inspecting hangover.
10. Then we're going to do touch-up paint all over the apartment while there are no little people in the house.
11. And then maybe we can have a date Friday night.
12. I am C R A Z Y in love with my husband, and I am thankful for the last 27 months and one day we have spent married to each other.
13. I'm teaching myself to knit from the internet. This series of knitting tutorials is very easy to understand.
14. So I'm knitting and purling, knitting and purling, ripping out, knitting and purling.
15. Clearly I am nesting.
16. I have only 10 weeks to go.
17. Next weekend I get my Vera Bradley baby bag because I am a spoiled rotten brat and my Mommy bought it for me.
18. She bought me a crib when Zesty was born.
19. Sica gets free babysitting.
20. So I don't feel guilty at all for being spoiled like this.
21. Zesty just dug very old, very stale hamburger buns out of the trash.
22. I can only find one.
23. There were two.
24. Zesty knows where his ears are now. Thank you Baby Einstein.
25. BooMama made my day yesterday. I even stopped someone at church and said "Did you read BooMama's blog today? You HAVE to go home and read it."

Filling the Sea of Forgetfulness,
Mrs Lemon

I'm jealous that your mama spoils you.

Treasure it. Such a sweet gift to have a mama who loves on you.

I hope my girls feel that way when they're older, since I'm sure all the spankings they get right now are NOT making them feel spoiled.

So I had no idea that those bright colored quilted bags were something special until traveling to Vermont last month. They were all over the airports. April clued me in on them.

Sarah - Oh. I got the spankings too. Probably every day for preventative measures. ;)

Karen - I never used to like them because I thought they looked like diaper bags. Now that I need a diaper bag - I like them very much. There will be pictures of my precious.
