I have a fantastic talent for procrastinating.
This Friday I've got an interview for a potential instructor position at H&R Block (I KNOW. I think about taxes year round, so I'm perfect for the job...). There are a few things to prepare for that interview, they sent me a packet, a presentation to do, blah blah blah.
Therefore, I'm making a to do list of EVERYTHING ELSE that needs to be done besides prepare for that interview. It's like I'm setting myself up to just squeeze in by the hair of my chinny chin chin, but I just can't bring myself to read through the packet they sent me until - the day before.
I have to actually put in my yearly application online, and every time I sit down to do it, I browse through my friends on Facebook. Or call Mr Lemon in to "Look! LOOK at that Moby wrap - I can totally do it."
Or I start daydreaming over these hair clippies and mentally making YET ANOTHER LIST of all the supplies I would need to make them myself. And then I put in a request on my local Freecycle group for a hot glue gun, and I need to go pick that up today. See? I have important things to do. Later.

It's so nice to know that I'm not the only one who procrastinates.
I have a coupla days to myself, a basement and an upstairs that need some immense cleaning and I'm pretty sure I'll start on it about 30 minutes before Josh gets home.
Because that's how I roll.
Welcome to procrastinators anonymous... I have been doing this for over a month. Trying to work on my resume and application for teaching high school. Everytime I get online with good intentions, I also end up on facebook browsing.
Hi. My name is Mrs. Nurse Boy. I am a procrastinator. As a matter of a fact, I am procrastinating right now...
Good luck on the interview!!! My father in law works for the Block year round and loves it. I personally think you all are a little bit sick...but numbers tend to make me nauseous!
It's Friday morning at 6:10 AM. Have you got your stuff done yet?
Wow, that was a flashback. It was almost like you were in high school again.
Heh.. hopefully Sprite has hair otherwise the "No Slip Hair Clips" will have to hold her ears back... or diapers shut (Hey, that's my idea, so I get half the royalties)! Anyways, I have a cute headband thing I've been doing for my newest addition... Just take a pair of knee high pantyhose and measure Sprite's head then cut the excess hot glue the ends (with the hot glue gun you get on freecycle) then to cover up where it was glued apply a bow or a flower or a big button or whatever your little heart desires and WAH-LAH! They literally take 5 minutes to make, are super cute, and I have 50 billion of them!
Oh and by the way this is Bethany in Ohio just so you know who had this REMARKABLE idea!! Love ya Sis!
