This weekend was our annual Ladies Conference in Louisville. It was great to get away with some of my closest friends, and also a bunch of new ladies who have joined our church since the last Ladies Conference. In all, we had 22 in our group, and I just don't think we could have had a better time.
On the left is Thithy, myself in the center, and Mrs Teacher on the right. We've attended too many Ladies Conferences together to count. What this picture of perfect poise does not tell you is that I backed out to go back to my dinner, and subsequently stepped out of my shoe. I tripped. I came THISCLOSE to knocking over a waiter's tray holder thingy loaded with dishes. I think Thithy peed herself laughing at me.
We were still hungry after dinner and church, so we wandered Louisville's 4th Street area down to TGIFriday's.
"Recession? What recession?"
And this is for those of you who tuned out after I said Zesty was walking ...
My adorable family was the best to come home to ...

WHAT??? He is walking?! Adorable video. I love it when they start walking and falling all over the place like they have had a few too many sips of the apple juice.

Better buy him some knee & elbow pads for a visit to our house. Hardwood floors don't make good landing pads for beginning walkers.
If only there was a video of the backstep/trip/near waiter crash of you trying to walk. :)
Zesty is adorable. And he will only go faster from here on out, you know. :)
