Let them have cake

Just a quick one while you wait for the real post with pictures of my niecy ...

There's a new tax preparer in my office who is a Swiss native. She speaks with a French-like accent, and can be hard to understand.

But some idioms just don't translate well.

I think she meant "I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached."

She said "I think I will lose my head someday."

It made me shudder a little. With the French-like accent and all, she sounded kinda Marie Antoinette-ish.
