and don'cha come back no mo'

Thanks for all your suggestions. We stopped using Vaseline and did a few rounds with Arbonne baby oil that Mom brought with her that glorious week that she stayed with us after the baby was born. But the real cure was A&D Ointment. Wowzers. That stuff will grow a new tail if you cut it off a cow.

(That sentence made no sense to anyone outside my family, but it's 6:30 in the morning and I am entitled to say stuff that doesn't make sense.)

We finally had two diapers in a row that didn't contain diarrhea. I've never been so happy to see a guest leave. Zesty is playing much better, eating better, and it's taking me twice as long to type this because he thinks he needs to be in on the bloggy action.

Speaking of bloggy actions ... I just found the Blogger feature that allows one to import posts from one's old blog! So excited about this, as I can edit all 300+ of my old blog posts to reflect the Lemonade Living personalities. That's my high and lofty goal for naptime today, so if you have a blog feedreader and see a bunch of old posts show up, you will know what is going on.

And in honor of old posts being available again, and also in honor of my friend AMY who got called on to testify not once but twice last night, I present to you this blast from the past.

Something else that is a wonder worker is Aquaphor. You can use iton everything from chapped faces and noses to chapped bottoms. Preferably not from the same tube, of course, though.

The origional ointment you are thinking of that will grow a new tail on a cow and grow a new cow on the broken off tail is Watkins petro-carbo salve.
I don't know if it works on diaper rash, but Mom used it for just about everything else.

So hey, I was just catching up on my Lemonade reading and was feeling so sorry for you and the bout with the plague. I kid you not, just as I was about to click "comment" I heard a wail and a retch from down the hall. I'm not kidding. I swear I'm not.

So glad Zesty is getting better and his little behind too. When Daniel has stomach flu, I used disposables too. No way I wanted that infection in my diapers! The Arbonne Baby Oil is awesome!!

I read the blast from the past and that was so funny!! I was cracking up and hubs asked me from what, so I read it to him and he cracked up too. Thanks for the laugh. I needed that!

Oh, Liz I hope you never change.

I'm so sorry that Zesty has been sick.

When Tater Tot was just about his age he had rotovirus, and I thought we were all going to die. Sweet mercy, it was awful! He only threw up once, but the diarrhea stayed for what seemed like an eternity. We used Boudreaux's Butt Paste throughout the ordeal and it helped a lot.

It sounds like Zesty is on the mend, though, and that's good news!

I'm so glad I stopped by today cuz we've been looking for something else to use with Belle - she's feeling a little better but still battling the icky diapers. Glad to hear Zesty is doing better!
