Happy birthday Mom!
I bought you a new African Violet for your birthday, but someone waxed the kitchen floor at the church and I tripped and fell with it.
Oh wait. That wasn't this year, that was about 15 years ago.
I'm getting old, my memory is failing me.

Thank you, Sweetie! I remember the day of the African Violets in the kitchen. I, also, remember a certain "gentleman" yelling at you for messing up his nice clean church kitchen, and the tears that just wouldn't stop! That's okay, I've killed my fair share of plants through the years! Love you!
