Ne'er a truer word emailed

I was contacted lately for info about when I sewed some fleece diaper covers. In the interest of full disclosure, I admitted freely that I was no sewing genius. But it reminded me that yes indeedy, I do have a sewing machine, and Proverbs 31 talks about clothing one's household with scarlet in the winter.

Red is my favorite color, so I can relate to that chapter. We're going to a bonfire tomorrow night. Thusly, I felt the scripture urge me to clothe my baby's hands with mittens.

First off, does anyone need any mittens for Barbie dolls?

And is there a market for hand-socks instead? I think that's what I really have going here.

Here's hoping the hat I'm about to attempt (to match the hand-socks) doesn't turn out to be a prayer beanie. For Ken.

Hand socks work. . . as long as they are warm. I stick with crochet hats. If I had a sewing machine I would probably be attempting things I have no business attempting.

We are going to a bon fire tomorrow night too and I am working on getting all the warm stuff together today.
