I tried a new comments system for a few months trying to promote dialogue, but honestly, it's a hassle. IT IS A HASSLE TO DIALOGUE.
Just kidding.
Who am I trying to kid? I'm not a big-time blogger. My readers are my friends, I am more likely to carry on a text conversation or email my friends than I am to wrangle out a blog post. Occasionally I twitter, but it's really hit and miss.
So having a whole separate site to check for comments is kind of at the bottom of my priority list.
I did just get invited to join Google+. I'm still not sure what the point is - but I love Google, so I'm in.
In fact, let me share with you the level of mediocrity you can expect if you also join Google+ and choose to add me to your circles.
The other day I googled something on my phone and instead of clicking on the link I wanted to search, I held the phone up to my ear. Like I was CALLING GOOGLE.Awesome, no?

As an aside, I would dearly love your advice.
Screaming toddlers. I mean, I get sibling rivalry and all, my sister and I were 19 months and 3 weeks apart. We didn't really get along until she got married and had a baby.
But this ceaseless shrieking and antagonizing which just as quickly turns to giggles and (horror of horrors) joint bedroom total destruction - dear Lord. Just set up a webcam and put it on repeat. That will be hell enough for some, if there is ever a shortage of fiery brimstone and gnashing of teeth.
Besides a few years of growing up time, was there any special trick you used to teach your toddlers how to use inside voices?

Outside for 10-15 mins. won't melt them be it monsoon or hot. It will give your ears that much peace, and it is worth it!
All I can tell you is hold on. Eventually they will find their own brand of peace with each other.
Send them outside with a waterhose! Even better, get them some sort of sprinkler. That way they're outside but not roasting. They can be as loud as their little mouths desire =)
I can't wait for fall, where they can shriek outside and not melt. Love what you have done with the blog, by-the-way. :o)
