She will grab her diaper in urgency and say "gotta go!" and "boppy!" Even has gotten out of the bathtub a time or two to use the potty.
I'm so proud and exhausted at the same time. Do you know it's been a year since I started to work on Zesty for potty training? unbelievable. At least she's interested, so we're going with it.
A few days after we painted Splenda's room, I used the leftover paint to freshen the toddlers' bathroom in the family room. It's been a lavender expanse of walls ever since. We got distracted by the upstairs, and I never got around to saving enough to buy all the vinyl wall art I wanted.
Sometime last week I decided to use my combinations of acrylic craft paint and all the other colors we had hanging around the house. I used a laundry basket and a potty ring (hey, it was handy ...) to help me draw straight circles, and I copied some of the vinyl wall art designs I found on Etsy. Holly is an amazing designer, but I'm not going to be able to buy everything I wanted from her so I'm using my resources :)
Here's what I've got so far. Those pink splotches below the towel bar are mushrooms :)
What do you think? I love it! I think I need to fix one thing ... that one half moon looks like they are frowning, but they were supposed to be cute little froggy pot bellies.
I'm having a good time with it! Sorry Holly, again, I wish I could have bought everything from you :)
In other news, I found out all three of my kids like Chinese, so AWESOME - and Zesty was trying to use chopsticks like he saw Splenda the other day. With his scrambled eggs, that not only have ketchup on them (DAD) but mustard too. Because to a three-year-old anything with ketchup should also have mustard.
And today at lunch Pinky decided to skip the booster seat and sit like Zesty. I'm not ready for her to not be contained during mealtimes though.
They are also skipping naps more than taking them, but we won't speak of that because right now they are both asleep so let's not wake the monsters.
