I'm seeing green

And that would be from all the kitchen and dining area painting I've been doing this week, not from jealousy :)

There are still a few things to do:
1) replace the mini-blinds with faux wood slatted blinds
2) hang the valance that matches the living room valances
3) actually, scratch that. #2 should say BUY the valance - Lowe's was out when we went a few days ago.
4) touch up some of the Coconut Husk areas that are adjacent to the Green Tea corners
5) pat myself on the back for all the spackling and sanding I did
6) also pat myself on the back for correctly using the word adjacent without confirming the definition
7) paint the long dining/living room wall
8) paint and hang chair rail on that wall
9) paint all the trim
10) I better stop there, it's starting to get depressing ...

I bought my husband a lawn mower and a weed eater with some of my potty training panel compensation.  Then I proceeded to mow 3/4 of the lawn, so he could assemble and use the weed eater. That and pumping gas are the two tasks I hate most in this world.

But my Dad taught me how to handle a mower with ease.  I made sure Mr Lemon picked one with a bag so I could avoid another miserable chore - raking.

What have you been up to since I haven't been on Facebook? I have missed you! :) Really! A big shout-out to Mrs Pilot who has obliged me with funny texts about her darling angel boys that she's probably also posting on Facebook - the rest of you need to get on board with Lemonbook ;)
