The beauty of morning

Morning

What did Mary have on her mind that morning as she arose to begin her day? Did she have an expectancy of the miracle that would meet her? Keenly aware of the task, when the Lord called and said, "Will you do this?" she answered "Be it unto me."

Morning

They traveled to Bethlehem to fulfill the age-old prophecy, burdened with responsibility, and hopeful of the Promise. Confident that God Almighty would visit them and bring His peace to turmoil. Their surroundings did not hinder the young couple from Nazareth. No room in the inn? A stable? Without hesitation, they pressed on through to be ready to receive the Gift.

Morning

Glory to God in the highest, indeed! Calling humble shepherds, celestial beings, and earthly kings to honor the Baby. Let all creation rejoice in our salvation. The mercies of God are new every morning.

Lead me Lord, I'll follow
Anywhere you open up the door
Let your word speak to me
Show me what I've never seen before
Lord I want to be your witness,
You can take what's wrong and make it right
Daystar shine down on me
Let your love shine through me in the night

What will your morning bring? Will you be ready to follow?
