She had the eyes of the King, and the squeezy squeezy cheeks of the Queen.
The Queen prayed, "Please, please, PLEASE, let her have dark curly hair. Amen."
And the Lord heard it, and smiled as He remembered the Queen in her Princess days as having straight not quite blonde, not quite brown, not quite red hair. He knew the Queen wanted her Princess to have an identifiable color hair.
So He said, "Okay!"
The older Princess took a look at her and exclaimed, "She looks like me!"
The Prince took a look at her and exclaimed, "Menewannaolder!"
The King looked at her and said, "Verily, verily, my wallet is about to become empty, as she must have this hairbow, and that hairbow ..."
The Queen kissed those squeezy squeezy cheeks and smiled.
And then she proclaimed the birth throughout the land.
The Littlest Princess grew and grew, and began to smile the sunshiny smile of a darling well-loved. She learned to crawl, and to climb, and to splash water all over the place in her royal bath.
And they all went to sleep, to dream big dreams for this Littlest Princess.
