Let's pretend we're having a coffee chat ... except it's really early ... and there's no coffee

I just found out I can text to Canada for free with my mobile plan.  Which is awesome, since I speak the language, and also my college partner-in-crime Wendy lives in Canada.

Last night we were emailing each other about Pinky's room, and commenting on Facebook on my wall AND her wall about two completely different topics all at the same time.

It was like we were procrastinating studying for an exam all over again, sitting in our dorm supervisor's room (Hi Misty!), yakking away at the same time about two different things.

Poor Misty.  She had no idea we were preparing her for motherhood.

Started to teach a new choir song yesterday ... they hate it.  Not sure if I'm willing to push through - it's a good song, but I hate to struggle to learn new music.  If ya love it, it sounds better.

That's your music lesson of the day. You're welcome.

Did I mention Zesty loves to go HOUTSIDE?  It was great yesterday afternoon to send him out to play while I fixed dinner after church.  I thought, hey, it'll wear him out so he'll take a solid nap before choir practice!

Yeah. About that.  It backfired.  He was wound up tighter than BooMama on game day.

........................................................

Speaking of game day, is it really a game when the OSU score is 73 to 20?

........................................................

Zesty is in his bed singing Souled Out.  He even has the minor 2nd interval down perfect, and then he takes it up an octave.  THAT'S MY BOY.

I'd say Mr. Zesty is going to have a great tenor voice just like his daddy!

I sooooo understand about the song sounding better if you at least like it. Some songs I just CANNOT remember my part for anything, because I really don't like the song!

As you text Wendy, be sure to say "Hi" for me, okay?

I love and miss you both dearly and truly miss those yakking procrastination moments.
