COOOOLLL!!

My son makes me so proud.

I filled his sippy cup with some of my Shaken Iced Green Tea Lemonade from Starbucks. He gulped it down and said "COOOOLLL!!"

Yes. Yes, son, it is. Now I need to figure out how to make it at home so I can have cool freshness all summer long without spending $4 every time I leave the house.

(Thanks for the gift card, Dad.)

Zesty is starting to sing along with us. He can almost sing all the words to "Wrap Me In Your Arms," a newer chorus we've been singing at church. What cracks me up is that he sings it like "wapp me IN yo' ammmms" with the emphasis exactly where the drums hit.

Splenda completely surprised me on Mother's Day with an uncharacteristically sweet text message. Uncharacteristic because usually she'll just tell her Dad to tell me something, instead of telling me directly, as though it embarrasses her to show emotion to me.

Let's just say it made me sob a little thankful prayer, and I totally locked that text message so I'll never lose it.

It may interest you to know that everybody's birthday in our little family (except mine) and our wedding anniversary are all on the same day of the week. I guess it works out like that because Zesty was born in a leap year, but after Leap Day. I used my perpetual calendar skills to figure out it will always be like that.

You may stop rolling your eyes at what a nerd I am. I think it's cool. COOOOLLL!!

Pinky is mobile. We're going to have to get back in the habit of putting up the gate at the bottom of the stairs, because she will be moving towards them sooner than we realized.

Now I think I might have to try that lemonade! Why is it that everything they make tastes so stinkin' good?!

I guess that is why they can charge prices that reflect liquid gold.

Good updates on the family. I've gotta look up that song now to see how it goes!

I love hearing how my babies (and grandbabies) are doing. Hit me with some randomness anytime.
