I haven't bought new curtains since my Aunt Beth took me to WalMart with carte blanche the summer before I went to Bible college.
Wish I had a picture of those beauts to share. It was a wonderland of navy blue and cream plaid in my room. I loved it until we had open house and I saw the same bedspread in a guy's dorm.
Oh well. We can't all love pink and flowers.

Here are my living room curtains. I have since steamed them into shape, but didn't bother to take a new picture.
Mr Lemon happily installed the rod for me, and I realized that I have no business bossing him around when it comes to hardware.
And a desk! with drawers!
Those photos were taken a few days ago when the kids were down for a nap, thus the reason there are no toys, food, or diapers laying on the couch. Then I lost my camera, and found it again today in Zesty's toybox.
Apparently he took it upon himself to make sure he made an appearance on the blog, because I found these ...
And now for my coveted bedroom curtains ...
Call me Mommaw for having a blanket over the back of the chair, but that chair is pleather, and it is COLD.
And - I got these boots! in brown and black! on sale ~ absolutely not this price.Apparently we are snowed in for the week. We've gotten upwards of 8" today, and it is not showing any signs of stopping. Being snowed in just makes me want to cook, so if anyone is hungry and can make it into the parking lot, come on over.

Love the curtains and the desk. But I have to say Z's pics are great!! LOL I so remember the blue and cream plaid curtains. LOL I had burgundy and cream plaid. Plaid was it!
Love the boots! So jealous!! We keep getting all this snow and I'm going looking for some boots. So ready for flip flop season!
The new tagline is great too!! And I am just impressed that you can make your own header's, I have to use the ones someone else makes. :o)
Good golly miss molly - I like your curtains, especially the blue ones, and your desk is great, the boots awesome...but honey, I COVET YOUR RED COUCH. Sigh . . .
(p.s. I am impressed you cleaned that thoroughly for your pictures. Very nice. If you get bored, feel free to dig yourself out of the snow and come on down a bit further south to help me clean. You are officially invited.)
Ohhh ... I remember the blue and cream plaid curtains. What I remember the most though is that you used to be able to get a really dark room for sleeping in and alas, mine was as bright as if someone had put a spotlight in it. At 6am. Oh, those were the days. Life is ironic, because I think you officially now have more flowers in your house than I do :) Which wouldn't be hard ... as I think there is only one thing with flowers now ... oh the times are a changin' :) Anyway - enough morning rambling ... love the curtains, love the couch, love the desk, but especially love the Zesty pictures - too cute!
