Not THIS hot stick. THESE. Although the way my hair turned out, you'd wonder ...
Oh.My.1995. It was horrible. I cannot believe I did not think my hair looked good unless it was curled root to tip.
I've got to find an easy way to fix fine, straight, waist-length hair quickly that doesn't involve a ponytail, because I'm having that post-partum freak out that I actually look like I have two babies and don't get any sleep.
Oh, you didn't come here for my hair issues?
Pinky is still not posing for the camera, but here's her 4 week forced photo shoot. I realized after the fact that her jumper is on backwards.
It is killing my pre-parental statement of "NO kid is EVER going to sleep in my bed, no way no how."
She loves being in the Moby wrap, which is wonderful. I'm going to put her in it in a few minutes so I can find my living room floor underneath all the toys and diapers and pillows Zesty has thrown on the floor in the last few minutes that I've been on the computer.
...................................................
Zesty is very good with his baby sister. Many people have warned me of older sibling jealousy, but it has not happened with us. He wants to kiss her all the time, and he tells us when he's ready to hold her. It sounds like "Menewannaolder?"
He has really taken off with his "talking." He has so much to say about everything. I've taught him to sign a few things: please, thank you, sorry, all done. It's really cute! I took a video to show you all his cuteness, but blogger is taking forever to upload it. Like, since 9:30 this morning until now. Grr.
He does try to get our attention in negative ways though, like shaking a lamp, or the pack-n-play. Right now his favorite thing is taking the ornaments off the tree. It's a mess - the bottom three feet have no ornaments because when I take them from him, I put them on the top. Next year I'm just going to put the lights, garland, topper, and stockings on the tree to decorate it. I know the kids have to learn eventually to not touch it, but there are so many other things I already tell him "no" about ...
Notice all those ellipses? That's what my verbal conversations these days look like if you were to take a picture and put them on the blog. My sentences just fade off as I realize there is yet ANOTHER poopy diaper to change, and oh, is it time to feed a kid AGAIN?
Oh, I joke. It's not all poopy diapers and food. It's laundry, and bathtimes, and getting two kids in carseats, and oh, last night it was raining cats and dogs and we went grocery shopping anyhow, so it was also a lot of running in the rain.

I can feel your pain! Maybe you will be lucky and ponytails will become a new fashion statement? ((HUGS))
You could go with the "POOF" again, SISTER. Just love your blog. I do use my hot sticks but only curl about 5 inches of the bottom. And, yes, I am pentecostal and have hair past my waist.
In all the hysteria and mass pandemonium you are doing a GREAT job sweetheart:) I love you.
Mr. Lemon
I was hoping you would post a picture of the post hot stick curls.
wish I were there to help (even more I wish I was the momma of two sweet cute babies like you)
