Sprite - what's it gonna be?

Our ultrasound to find out if Sprite is on Team Pink or Team Blue is tomorrow!

To celebrate, I'm going to host a small little giveaway. Don't get all excited, it's not a stroller.

I cleaned out my closet and found some lovely little cross stitch kits my aunt gave me years ago, and couldn't bear to throw them away even though I'll never do them. But, Someone Else may enjoy them!

The rules. I have to have some rules, otherwise I'd want everyone to win. Here goes:

a) Enter your guess for either a Girl, a Boy, or Uncertain in the comments.

(Yes, I do know it's going to be either a girl or a boy. There's no middle ground there, despite what liberal Hollywood media would like us to think. I threw in the uncertain just in case the doctor is unable to tell from the ultrasound what the gender is.)

(I sincerely hope that is not the case, because Mr Lemon and I would have preferred the gender to be detailed to us on the pregnancy test I peed on 3 1/2 months ago. We are planners. PLANNERS.)

b) Anyone who guesses twins, triplets, or otherwise multiples is automatically disqualified.

(Just kidding.)

c) One guess per person - please leave your email address in the comments so I can contact you for your mailing address. You may disguise it by putting spaces and stuff like bloggerblogger at internetserviceprovider dot com or something clever like that if you prefer. You don't have to be a blogger to enter. As long as you leave me a way to contact you, you can enter the giveaway.

I'll close the giveaway tomorrow morning (around 8:00 am EST) before we leave for the appointment, so hurry up every chance you get and leave a comment. Everyone who guessed right will be put into a drawing, and three winners will be randomly chosen to win three cross stitch kits each.

On your marks ... get set ... GO!

**To clarify - the giveaway will be closed at 8:00 am EST on Friday. Today is Thursday. I know that because I went to church last night, and it was Wednesday. And, because I'm the boss of this here blog and half-boss of Sprite, I'm also going to count the Facebook comments of you chickies who aren't commenting on the blog. So there.

OK, so I am not entering...just commenting. You do know that sewing and anything remotely close to that is NOT my calling...and that is being kind. That is why I love reading about other people who have skills in this area.

But, I too am a PLANNER!!! My daughter crossed her legs and refused to show us her stuff during her sonogram. I cried all the way home. We knew she would be our last and we wanted to know so bad. We were able to find out in the doctor's office a few weeks later...but it felt like years.

I will pray that Sprite won't be modest. Tomorrow only!

My expert calculations predict that Sprite will be a member of Team Blue. That is to say, a Boy or ManChild. Thus sayeth The Muffin.

And you have my email and stuff, I think. I hope so. You should.

Liz, I'm guessing girl. Don't know why, just seems like Sprite is a girl.

When we went to have Phillip's ultrasound, he WOULD NOT flip over so that the tech could see him. She tried and tried. Finally, I said, "Let me use the bathroom, maybe he'll move then".

Then, I went to the bathroom, LAID DOWN ON THE FLOOR, put my feet up on the wall and he flipped :). I sauntered back in, she waved her magic wand and told us he was a boy.

I should mention here that I am normally a germ-a-phobe, however, NOTHING was standing in the way of my planning. So, I totally understand your need to plan. Good luck!!

I'm guessing a girl. BUT as the Nana, I promise to love and cherish this grandbaby as much as I do all of the others regardless of gender! You have my e-mail and my address!

Yep, I'm goin' with a girl, too. It was just my first gut feeling, so I'm goin' with it! *smile* But then, I could be totally wrong! Sooo, what will that say about my gut? That I just ate a grilled chicken salad from Subway and am having hallucinations? Whatever. *grin*
Oh, I hope I win!!!
