The excuses, I have them.

I would apologize for slacking on the posting, but what with spotty power here and spotty power in many of my reader's areas, I didn't feel too bad about it.

That's what I like to tell myself, anyhow.

It's amazing the meals you can come up with when you have no power. And then today - power all day - I actually felt like cooking. We had french toast and bacon for breakfast. Dinner consisted of a preseasoned pork roast, mashed potatoes, and green beans.
