Some time ago, events conspired to bring my Pastor and another local Pastor from another denomination together.
So vague. I KNOW.
In a nutshell, this Pastor and his congregation had been seeking for more from the Lord in a prayer meeting, and they have received the Holy Ghost just like the Day of Pentecost. Pastor has been in contact with them, and they see their need to be baptized in Jesus' name.
Take that praise break you've been waiting for. Can you say Acts 19 ten times fast?
And so, this coming Sunday our congregation has the privilege to join their congregation for a baptismal service that is going to rock the city. We are going to witness the rebirth of a community of believers!
Our choir has been asked to sing, and we have been preparing all summer for this opportunity.
So, if you would be in prayer for this weekend, I'd appreciate it. There is no limit to what God can do when we make ourselves available for His service.

That is wonderful! I can't wait to hear all the good stuff that comes out of this fellowship. As a sister choir director I just gotta know what songs y'all are doing.....
