Muchly medicated

Whew, that was a doozy. I still can't quite hear out of my right ear, still some congestion, but at least now I don't feel like I'm going to give birth to my brain out of my ear canal.

Seriously. I spent most of Friday moaning like a dying animal on the couch. Mr Lemon, bless him for all eternity, went and bought a heating pad so I could lay on it.

And it is a good thing this all happened on Friday, because Saturday I had to put on my big girl panties and get busy. I had housecleaning to do, groceries to buy, my cousin came through on her way back to Texas (holla), a church function to help serve, and then a big meal to prepare for Sunday afternoon.

We had Zesty dedicated Sunday morning. As soon as we knew when we were going to have the baby, we decided to wait until Father's Day to celebrate this special day.

Most of mine and Mr Lemon's immediate family came to visit and be with us as we publicly gave Zesty back to the Lord. More than anything, we want our family to be a blessing to the kingdom of God, and He knows how to best equip us to raise our family.

The good news is when he cries, I can say, "Hey, God, Your baby's crying..."

Pastor commented about how smiley Zesty was.

Yeah. About that. The baby was completely filling his diaper. I'm pretty sure that reverent expression on my face up there is a desperate prayer that it not run down his leg, please God, thank you Jesus.

He is faithful. I just could have done without that offering being pressed down, shaken together and running over.

One of the things I love most about Mr Lemon's family is they are just so down to earth and NORMAL. I love me some normal people. They all came over and crowded in our apartment with my family, and we just had a blast.

Here's The Ogre getting her pregnancy craving on with some watermelon. She looks so great!

Those just might be my last words on the blog once she sees the picture :)

Have to say the picture of the dedication is so sweet (regardless of the diaper situation). What a precious family...
And about Sica... praying for a safe pregnancy and delivery for her.
Glad you had a good weekend... Love you much...

And now your little sister is moaning on the couch with a terrible upper respiratory infection!!!

The dedication was sweet, and getting to be with you all and Chris' family was WONDERFUL!!! You're right, they are just real people, and it is great to be around people like that!

I am loving your black and white pics...They look so nostalgic and pretty. And that dedication picture is extra sweet.

The b&w makes my neck look skinny. I like that about photo editing. ~Liz
