And in honor of the fact that it is 2 more weeks until my 28th birthday, I made a white cake with cherry icing. Ignore the spot on the cake that is missing the icing, Mr Lemon was also giving the baby a bath at the same time. I was a little distracted with all the cute little naked baby bottom behind me.
A couple of weeks ago Splenda had Pioneer Day at her school. Check her out in her Laura Ingalls Wilder costume that her aunt made. She made a great poster, and a log cabin made out of popsickle sticks. I love that she has a dog on the front porch to represent Jack the brindled bulldog.
I finished my first wool soaker today, but I am frogging it because it's too big. I could have saved it for when he's bigger, but since this is new to me, I want to try it out soon. And! I ordered a Kissaluv fitted diaper to try out. If we like it, we're going to buy a couple at a time as we have the money to try and build up a stash of those.
That cake is calling my name, along with some pj's. Blog out.
