God has indeed remembered us

Meet Zesty Lemon:

He is 13 oz, likes to play with his ankle, and jumped around today when he heard his Daddy talking to his big sister Splenda on the phone. She wanted a sister, but there will be plenty more opportunities for us to reproduce a little girl to steal her shoes and purses.

We are so excited! We spent most of the early afternoon texting and calling friends and family. And celebrating by shopping at Old Navy for some clearance onesies for Zesty, and new jammies for me. The ones I stole from my sister don't fit anymore.

I have gained back 2 of the 5 pounds I've lost, but the doctor assured me today that my growth is just beginning *yay* I'm definitely in maternity only skirts, but I assure you I still look fabulous.

However, the nurse could have been a leetle more sympathetic about the EXCITEMENT! IN! MY! VOICE! as she was taking my blood pressure. She was like, "Would you please stop talking so I can check your blood pressure again? I can't get a good reading." So I stopped talking and she asked "Are you usually normal?"

I didn't say anything at first ... because she just told me to stop talking ... but I guess those words will come out of my mouth eventually ... "Shut your mouth and answer me!"

(My blood pressure is fine, normal as always, thankyouverymuch)

We updated our Babies 'R' Us registry while we were in the shopping mode today. That was fun! It was a good time to go, because there was another new mama over by the (close your eyes, Dad) breastfeeding supplies, and she suggested we ask the hospital for some of the supplies that we will only need for a few weeks. Like the 2oz storage bottles. She said he will graduate to more than 2oz quicker than we think.

I believe that. 2oz of Gingerbread Latte doesn't satisfy me for long either.
