THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! We even passed a huge distribution center (I think) on the way into Charleston. When I actually saw a Piggly Wiggly grocery store, I said to my husband, "Husband, we have to stop at one and take a picture. For the BLAWG." Being the kind and generous man that he is, we did just that.
We even managed 2 trips inside a Piggly Wiggly. And I can now say "Been there, done that, and BOUGHT THE T-SHIRT!!!"
That's also where Mr Lemon twisted my arm into buying a whole birthday cake for just the two of us instead of one cupcake each for us like I had originally but briefly decided on.
The funniest thing about my birthday and that day's Piggly Wiggly trip is we were on our way to eat from visiting the Magnolia Plantation (that post will be here tomorrow or something) and he said, "I want to buy you a birthday cake right now" and whipped into the parking lot ... of a bank ... with no connecting parking lot to the Piggly Wiggly. ROFL!!! I guess you would have to be there, but it was so hilarious.
Okay. Right now I'm wearing my Piggly Wiggly shirt, and going to go try and get some of my money back from Subway for making our wedding lunch an hour late.

I love your piggly wiggly t-shirt. I am going to buy one in that color. I have been in a piggly wiggly store befor but I am going to buy my t-shirt at this online store. Because when I went to the piggly wiggly store we had driven for an hour and then when we got there and they had none. And get this we had called before and asked if they had any and the woman said that they had sa whole lot in all of the colors. We where mad but we managed to find an online store that sold them.We are very excited to get our piggly wiggly t-shirts.
