And you know you've been gone from blogging too long when your future mother in law comments "Anyone there?"
Several things I learned while at my mom's for 3 days.
1) I never want to be 4 hours away from Mr Lemon for 3 days again. E.VER.
2) When you are driving 3 hours, and adjust the volume on the speakers so as to remind I71 traffic in Columbus to STIR UP THE GIFT, and then much later in the evening, such as a time that your mother is reclining in the backseat while you and Sica act like 12 year olds in the front seat, and then you decide to remind Sica to STIR UP THE GIFT ... that your mother just may need to hit the roof with a "Dear GOD!!" when you wake up such a person from a dead sleep with the loudest music she's ever heard. That was fun.
3) I thought I would enjoy a little space and a little time to myself after managing to spend nearly every waking and non-working hour with Mr Lemon for the last few weeks. Harumph. I do not need my space as much as I thought I did. I missed him terribly.
4) PF Chang's has some HOT PEPPERS, hmmmm Mom?
5) How funny it was to see my old employer, and he asked me "How's the husband?" I said "Which one?" lol!!
6) The Worm read The Berenstain Bears and the Bad Dream out loud to us all. He is quite possibly the smartest little boy I know.
7) How nice it was to come home Saturday night and have Mr Lemon waiting for me in the parking lot of my apartment. Did I mention yet how much I missed him?
Some photo ops
In Mt Vernon, this is not an unusual sight:
Let not the lighting fool you. This is no angel.

Our four fortunes
Can I say how welcome the respite of a strawberry-stuffed mouth was for Cousin Drama Queen?
And to wrap it all up, here's a great picture of Mr Lemon
