When we got snow last week, I braved the traffic so I could expedite my own personal tax preparation. And then rejoiced in the power of hot chocolate when I got home.
When we didn't get the crippling ice last night we were promised would arrive during rush hour, I slumped in disappointment.
When I stepped foot out today to brave the 20 yard walk to the mailbox and nearly did a tap-dance routine in trying to stay upright on my sidewalk, I quickly sobered up. I would go on to show you a picture of the pine tree that is iced over and covering my mailbox, but my camera lense doesn't zoom that far from my front stoop. I shoulda thought ahead and just brought my camera with me.
