Sympathy & Thank you's

(Am I fooling anyone by my frequent and shallow posting of late? I'm not fooling myself. Just trying to stay out of the deep end ... on with the posting.)

To the lady in front of me in line at Kroger's Sunday night who has 6 kids at home sick, and you are very sick yourself: I hope you feel better. I went right home and washed my hands.

To the post office: Thank you for locating my keys for me. Thank you for pressing the alarm button conveniently at each interval of time that I frantically thrust my arm into my purse to try and find them. Thank you for publicly laughing at me. Thank you for trying to blame a fellow post office customer. And thanks for laughing at me again when I came back to the post office 2 days later. I hope everyone you told that story to had a good time. It's a bond that will never be broken between us.

To Downy: need I say more? my Nautica jammies (that I spent too much for this weekend) are so soft now. And I do believe they qualify as work clothes.

To the waitstaff at Longhorn Friday night: Thank you for not spilling the Diet Coke that you spilled on Thithy and the dessert on my side of the table. I realize Thithy got the raw deal here. It rains on the just and the unjust. But thank you for sparing me.

To the manager at Longhorn: You apologized enough. You're starting to freak us out.

To GG & Thithy: Thanks for letting me be the 5th wheel. With a loose lugnut and a leaky valve.

To the guy who I did your taxes for tonight: I think you lied to me, but I don't have any solid evidence. I hope you told the truth. I feel sorry for you if you lied.
