We meet finally! After service last night we caught up with each other and I very nearly squashed her with a bear hug ... because while I am quite comfortable with how I look, I just did not expect her to be so tiny. But then, she probably gets that all the time. I am stooping, and she is on her tiptoes for this picture. This is the second shot, because some guys from bible college tried to get in on the "we're publishing this picture on the internet" glory and fame. (Think they would have tried so hard if they knew we were driving when they were still in elementary school? Oh, you think we still look 20? Why, thank you!)
I was very glad to get to enjoy this morning's service worshipping with my new in real life friend. But then, we were friends before we met. Thanks for all the pestering, Amy!
Speaking of in real life friends - I ventured out this weekend and gave my blog address to a few friends. I'm considering posting the address to my EC profile, but I may wait a little while before I do that. So if you see a few new commenters, please welcome them warmly (Hi Jen!) and clink your Diet Coke can to your monitor in a toast. I'll see what I can do about a few refreshments around here. I already ate all the goodies I brought home from Mom's from Christmas. The molasses cookies were gone before I got home. (Don't look at me like that. I feel no guilt.)
